Sign Up for Laptop Carts 2009-2010

 WE ONLY HAVE ONE CART AVAILABLE FOR ALL TEACHERS TO USE.

Wireless carts will be reserved on a first-come first-serve basis. Please click on the month above to view the carts availability and email me with the date(s), and time of day (morning, afternoon, or all day) you will need the cart for your classroom.

Using the carts in your classroom

• Please fill out the sheet in the envelope inside the cart to document which tablet each student is using (if we are low on copies of the form, please make a few extra and place them in the envelope, or let me know so I can make sure forms are available for the next teacher).

• Plug in the wireless cart to charge the tablets when not in use, or over night, so you will not be surprised with low battery strength.

• In order to obtain the best connection with the network and wireless server please make sure to connect the wireless box on top of the cart to the drop plug in your room  (usually located near your phone jack).

• Please check the calendar to see who is signed up to use the cart the next day. It is the responsibility of the current user to get the cart to the next person signed up. If the cart is not assigned to anyone the next day please return it to the technology room.

Feel free to email me (Mrs. Naranjo) with questions or concerns regarding the carts and tablets. I will be available and happy to help you after school and during my conference (with advanced notice) to assist with any issues that may arise.

Please remember: You may not reserve the carts more than 1 nine-weeks ahead, and you may not reserve a cart for more than five days in a row. If you have special circumstances, email me.
